The uterine cavity is empty. There is a live ectopic pregnancy in the right adnexal region corresponding with 10-11 weeks gestational age.
Case Discussion
This patient had irregular periods and was unaware of her pregnancy. This case highlights the importance of ruling out ectopic pregnancy in young women who report right iliac fossa pain.
