Presentation
Increased abdominal girth and decreased appetite for three months.
Patient Data

The micronodular margin of the liver, pronounced splenomegaly, remarkable volume Ascites, and distal esophagus varicose veins are seen. The portal vein and splenic vein are relatively dilated. The gallbladder has mild submucosal edema and is minimally distended. Bowel loops walls appear edematous.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the main findings of hepatic cirrhosis and portal hypertension consisting of the nodular margin of the liver, Ascites, splenomegaly, and some varicose veins in the distal thoracic esophagus wall. Hepatic cirrhosis is also a leading cause of portal vein thrombosis and is a late consequence of chronic liver disease. One of the major complications of hepatic cirrhosis is hepatocellular carcinoma. In this presented case, because of coagulopathy biopsy has not been taken and the diagnosis is based on imaging findings and MDM discussion at the moment.
