Lobar holoprosencephaly

Presentation

Delayed walking.

Patient Data

Age: 2 years
Gender: Male
MRI
  • Absent septum pellucidum.
  • Fusion of the frontal lobes.
  • Both frontal horns of the lateral ventricle are smaller than normal whereas the body and posterior horns of the lateral ventricles are prominent.
  • Single ACA is identified.

Case Discussion

The findings are consistent with lobar holoprosencephaly.
