Work up for hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Multiple cortical cysts are seen at left kidney less than 40 mm could be suggestive for localized cystic renal disease.

In addition, a tiny stone less than 3 mm is present at lower calyx of right kidney. 

Case Discussion

Localized cystic renal disease is an uncommon, non-familial, non-progressive disease characterized by clusters of cysts within the normal renal parenchyma.
