Presentation

Neck pain. No dysphagia/odynophagia. No cough/hoarseness of voice.

Elongated styloid processes on both sides. No fracture or pseudoarthrosis.

Ossified stylohyoid ligament on right side.

No calcification in pharynx or larynx.

Case Discussion

If the elongated styloid processes are shown to be the source of symptoms (via neurovascular compression) then it may be called Eagle syndrome.
