Presentation

Fall from the 1st floor with otorrhagia.

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Longitudinal fracture through the right temporal bone extending into the middle ear with associated incudomalleolar disarticulation with widening of the joint space. In addition, there is partial opacification of the epitympanic recess. Normal appearance of the left middle ear and both inner ears.
