Note is made of a longitudinal fracture of the right petrous bone with opacification of the right middle ear. Intracranial pneumocephalus also seen .

This case shows a longitudinal temporal bone fracture. It is important to remember that sometimes only small intracranial pockets of air can suggest a temporal fracture.
