Presentation

History of left flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Abdominal Ultrasound

Moderate hydronephrosis is seen , with dilated upper ureter , the ureter can be seen dilated at pelvic brim crossing the iliac vessels, 10 mm stone is seen obstructing the lower ureter.

This stone exhibit posterior acoustic shadow. On color dopper mode, it exhibits twinkling and color comet-tail artifacts.
