Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Lumbosacral transitional vertebra with enlargement and unilateral pseudoarticulation of the left transverse process, representing type IIa according to Castellvi classification.

Incidental left side iliac bone lytic lesion with internal septations and narrow zone of transition.

Case Discussion

A case of lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV) associated with the pseudo articulation of the transverse process and sacrum.

It is classified according to Castellvi classification into four types with this case representing type IIA.
