Mildly displaced fracture through the dorsal lunate. No other fracture identified. Scapholunate interval mildly widened compared to the other intercarpal intervals.
Case Discussion
Isolated lunate fractures are rare and usually result from high-energy trauma. They commonly occur in conjunction with ligamentous injury. In this case, there is suspicion of a scapholunate ligament injury giving the slight widening of the scapholunate interval.
