Small rounded lobulated dense nodular opacity at the upper zone of right lung.

Solitary nodule at the right upper lung lobe apical segment showing lobulated outline, with internal hypodense foci of fat (CT density of –60 HU), as well as coarse ‘popcorn’ calcifications, with faint insignificant enhancement on post-contrast series.
Case Discussion
The presence of fat within a pulmonary nodule is highly suggestive of benign nature.
Coarse calcification in "popcorn" configuration is a classic features of pulmonary hamartoma.
The chest X-ray AP lordotic (apical) view is very valuable in evaluation of suspected lesions at the lung apices that may be obscured by overlying upper ribs or the clavicles on routine chest PA view.
