Lung metastases from rectal carcinoma

Numerous round lesions scattered in both lungs, the largest measuring 2.9 cm in diameter - known metastases.
Fractures in right 6th-8th ribs, probably old ones.

The metastases have all enlarged and many new ones have appeared.
Case Discussion
Underwent low anterior resection with ileostomy for rectal adenocarcinoma 3 years before the first x-ray shown here.
Follow-up x-ray done on hospital admission 1 year later shows substantial exacerbation, despite treatment with chemotherapy.
