Presentation

Pain in wrist after snowboard injury. Swelling present at base of thumb

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
x-ray

There is fusion of lunate and triquetral bone of patient left hand. No fracture.

Case Discussion

Lunotriquetral is the most common type of carpal coalition and it is usually asymptomatic especially when the coalition is osseous, as is it in this case.
