Lymphangitic carcinomatosis secondary to thyroid cancer

A known case of recently histologicaly proven papillary cell carcinoma of the thyroid

Patient Data

Age: 60 years old
Gender: Male

Nodular and irregular thickening of peribronchvascular interstitium and interlobular septa are seen in the both lung parenchyma . Multiple metastatic nodules also are noted. 

Case Discussion

The findings in a 60 Y/O male with known history of thyroidal papillary cell carcinoma are consistent with lymphangitic carcinomatosis.
