Presentation

5 years post operative and chemoradiotherapy status for right breast carcinoma. Right upper limb edema for 1 year.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
X-ray

The arm is grossly swollen with edematous enlargement of the subcutaneous tissues. Streaky density is seen within the subcutaneous fat.

Typical appearance of lymphedema post breast cancer due to disruption of the axillary lymphatic pathway.
