MRI shows extensive subcutaneous edema with a honeycomb pattern consistent with lymphedema. The overlying skin is thickened. The femoral shaft also shows evidence of red marrow conversion.
Case Discussion
Lymphedema is the accumulation of fluid in the soft tissue due to impaired lymphatic drainage. MRI shows extensive subcutaneous edema with honeycomb pattern and skin thickening.
