Case Discussion

CT scan of the lumber spine was performed during the call time which reveals a lytic lesion involving the sacrum. The main differential diagnoses were between primary bone tumors versus metastasis. CT scan of the chest abdomen and pelvis was suggested to role out primary. CT scan of the chest abdomen and pelvis done next day reveals anterior mediastinal soft tissue mass lesion. The lesion is encasing the major vasculature. The appearance is highly suggestive of lymphoma. Unfortunately the patient went against medical advice, and biopsy was not done for the lesion. However, presumed diagnosis of lymphoma was entertained.
