Lymphoma - mediastinal

Patient Data

Age: 6 years

The mediastinum widened with the mass shown to be in the anterior mediastinum. 


A hypovascular mass is present in the anterior mediastinum. Centrally there is a fluid attenuating component. No fatty component visible. It displaces and encases structures without compressing them. 

Case Discussion

This boy went on to have a biopsy-proven T cell lymphoma of the anterior mediastinum.​
