Incidental finding of 48 and 38 macrodontia (right and left mandibulary third molars): bilateral and symetrical impaction in coronary mesioversion.
Case Discussion
The size of a third molar is normally smaller than the size of a second molar and is generally composed of 4 cuspids. Here, we can count 6 cuspids. The diagnosis of macrodontia has been confirmed after extraction.
The other possible teeth size anomaly is microdontia.
The anterior open bite allows some space in the incisors' region and total posterior occlusion, which is usually not the case in an OPG.
