Hypertrophy of second, third and fourth digits, with enlarged phalanges. No osteolytic or osteosclerotic changes, periosteal reaction or abnormal calcifications. The rest of the bones seems nomal.

Macrodystrophia lipomatosa is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by an abnormal overgrowth of the mesenchymal elements resulting in gigantism of single or multiple digits. The growth of affected parts usually ceases at puberty.
