There were symmetrical arm bone findings; the left is presented. Note:
- decreased carpal angle [normal between 118° and 139°]
- V-shaped carpal angle
- herniation of proximal carpal row of bones
- dysplastic proximal radius with shortening which is characteristic of Madelung's dyschondrosteosis rather than the primary Madelung's deformity
Case Discussion
X-ray of legs [not shown] showed bilateral symmetrical upper tibial and fibular deformities with medial inclinations.
