Malignant breast mass - BIRADS 5

Presentation

Painless palpable lump in left breast causing nipple retraction.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Female
mammography

LCC and LMLO views demonstrate a large retroareolar mass (at least 5 cm diameter) with spiculated margins and nipple retraction. LMLO view also shows a pathological axillary node.

Imaging findings are highly suggestive of malignancy: BIRADS 5

Case Discussion

Patient first noticed a lump in her left breast two years ago, but since she had no pain, she didn't immediately seek medical attention until recently.

During medical examination, another lump is detected in her left axilla.
