Malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the thigh

MRI demonstrates a well-circumscribed soft tissue mass in the anterior compartment of the right thigh which is hypointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI and shows irregular thick ring-type contrast enhancement. There is no evidence of femoral cortical invasion.
Case Discussion
He underwent surgery, with the mass resected, and the pathology confirmed malignant fibrous histiocytoma (which has more recently been classified as pleomorphic undifferentiated sarcoma).
