X-ray to confirm nasogastric tube.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
x-ray

Nasogastric tube is curled within the throat. Subsegmental atelectasis in the lower zones bilaterally.

Case Discussion

This patient was unable to communicate to the treating team that the NGT was curled up in his throat, the NGT was withdrawn immediately after x-ray.
