- Displaced oblique fracture of the right mandibular angle extending into the alveolar process with associated displaced fracture of the mesial root of the 48 tooth.
- Minimally displaced oblique fracture of the left mandibular ramus extending into the coronoid process.
Case Discussion
Occasionally a mandibular fracture may traverse an alveolar process and fracture the associated dental root (dentoalveolar fracture).
