This solid lesion is called a fibroadenoma.

These are the biopsy images. The case was reviewed by a breast imager who did not concur with the original Birads II diagnosis. This is a Birads IV lesion. Confirmed invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC).

Case Discussion

Review the ultrasound characteristics of a fibroadenoma

On the biopsy images make sure the needle traverses the lesion i.e. the throw goes through the area you want to biopsy. If the needle does not traverse the lesion on firing, you are sampling the breast short of the lesion. The needle needs to run right through the lesion. You need to see what is shown in the second biopsy image.
