Massive retroperitoneal liposarcoma

Axial C+ portal venous phase

Massive mixed-density fat mass arising from the left retroperitoneum and exerting mass effect on multiple abdominal structures. Medial displacement and rotation of the left kidney. Vessels running through the mass, with hazy areas of soft tissue density. No nodal or solid organ metastases.
Case Discussion
Massive retroperitoneal liposarcoma confirmed by biopsy. You can infer the origin of the mass by appreciating the inferior and medial displacement of the left kidney, indicating that it probably arises from the left reteroperitoneum.
