Presentation

Pelvic pain and mass feeling.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

A 105×103×82mm mass with fat fluid level and two internal Rokitansky protuberance are seen at right adnexa. Small foci of calcifications are also observed within the mass. There is no sign of local invasion to adjacent structures.

Typical appearance of mature cystic ovarian teratoma with two Rokitansky nodule or dermoid plug. A Rokitansky nodule or dermoid plug refers to a solid protuberance projecting from an ovarian cyst in the context of a mature cystic teratoma. This region has the highest propensity to undergo malignant transformation
