There is a well-defined fat, debris, soft tissue density, and small calcified focus containing cyst axial width up to 55 x 45 mm and height up to 43 mm in right ovary more compatible with mature cystic teratoma or Dermoid cyst.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the typical non-contrast MDCT features of a pathology-proved mature cystic teratoma or dermoid cyst of the right ovary. The cyst has some risks of ovarian torsion and secondary malignancy (squamous cell carcinoma) and the main treatment of the cyst is complete surgical excision.
