Mature cystic teratoma of the ovary

Complaining of recurrent pelvic pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Right adnexal cystic lesion showing the following criteria:

  • Of bright signal at T1WI.
  • Bright signal at T2WI.
  • No restricted diffusion (not shown in the images).
  • With drop of signal at fat saturated sequences.
  • Showing thin internal septations.
  • No definite enhancement at the post contrast study.
  • As well as peripheral non enhancing nodule (Rokitansky nodule).
