Mature ovarian teratoma

A large walled off predominantly fat density lesion seen in the pelvis, with a hyperattenuating tooth-like (dentiform) structure seen inside.
Case Discussion
Since the size of this mass exceeded 7 cm, which is regarded as the cut off point beyond of which removal of the mass is recommended, to avoid possible ovarian torsion in the future, surgery was scheduled.
Pathology report confirmed mature ovarian teratoma.
