Presentation

Status post-left maxillary dental implant 6 months ago , followed by pain, swelling and discharge. The dental implant was removed 2 months before.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Chronic osteomyelitis of the left maxilla with bone sclerosis and erosion as well as extraosseous enhancing soft tissue component and inflammatory changes of the lateral pterygoid and infratemporal fossa with small gas lucency. Bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy.
