Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Primary amenorrhea.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

The MRI sequences confirm the absence of the uterus, vagina as well as the fallopian tubes with normal functional ovaries, containing small follicles.

The axial and coronal T2 sequences confirm also the absence of the right kidney (renal agenesis).

Case of Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) atypical form (type B) which associated abnormalities of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and renal anomalies.
