Meandering main pancreatic duct is an anatomical variant with abnormal curvature of the pancreatic duct varying from the normal smooth curvilinear course. The ductal curvature can be a loop type or reverse Z type. The pancreatobiliary junction is normal.
Case Discussion
Meandering main pancreatic duct could be a potential cause of recurrent pancreatitis as the abnormal curvature of the duct might obstruct the flow of pancreatic secretions
