There is a ~2 cm diverticular outpouching a little less than 2 feet from the terminal ileum, compatible with a Meckel diverticulum. The terminal ileum has a normal single contrast appearance. The small bowel was otherwise normal.
The patient's Meckel diverticulum was known from prior abdominal surgery.
Case thanks to Stephen Rubesin, MD.
