Small intestinal obstruction was seen, with an enhancing band-like structure in right lumbar region, at the site of transition from dilated ileum to non-dilated ileum. It appeared to arise from ileal loop itself, and encircling the small bowel.
Case Discussion
Possibility of adhesive intestinal obstruction vs Meckel's diverticulitis was considered. Diagnostic laparoscopy was advised
Final diagnosis: Gangrenous Meckel's diverticulum forming a band along small bowel.
