Right iliac fossa pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45
Gender: Female

A 3.5-inch fluid filled blind-end pouch is identified arising from a small bowel loop associated with fat stranding. There is mild enhancement of this blind-end pouch walls.

No small bowel obstruction. Normal vermiform appendix. No free fluid or pneumoperitoneum. No other significant finding,

Case Discussion

Meckel's diverticulitis is an uncommon cause of acute abdominal pain.
