Images show dilated small bowel loops. Contrast enema reveals a normal rectum along with microcolon. There are multiple filling defects in the ascending, transverse and descending segments of colon representing meconium.

Typical imaging findings in meconium ileus. Associated with cystic fibrosis.
Ileal perforation and meconium peritonitis are potential complications.
