Case contributed by Ian Bickle
Diagnosis certain

Presentation

Fall. Pain in the shoulder. Fracture?

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Displaced fracture of the medial aspect of the clavicle.

Suboptimal projections.   Possible glenohumeral subluxation.

No pneumothorax.

Fracture of the medial end of the clavicle.

Case Discussion

The appearance of the right glenohumeral joint which may all be projectional due to the suboptimal images is a distractor from the fracture of the very medial aspect of the clavicle.

Ironically on the dedicated clavicle view, the fracture if evident but considerably less apparent.
