Medial collateral ligament ganglion cyst

Minimal joint effusion is seen.
Synovial cyst measuring about 12 x 28 mm involving the medial collateral ligament next to insertion site on the medial femoral condyle.
Chondromalacia patellae as cartilage thinning and fraying associated with subchondral edema and cystic changes are seen at the medial facet joint of the patella.
Case Discussion
Regarding the above imaging findings, MCL ganglion cyst is the preferred diagnosis.
