Displaced ossification centre of the medial epicondyle, reflecting a fracture.

Moderate soft tissue swelling of the elbow noted.

Elevation of anterior fat pad.

Case Discussion

Medial epicondyle fracture in a child. Medial epicondyle fractures are the most common elbow avulsion injuries in children. Elevation of the anterior fat pad is indicative of elbow haemarthrosis.
