A well-defined osteochondroma arising from the medial aspect of the medial malleolus with downward extension. The ankle joint is normal in appearance.

Mortise joint effusion.
Focal bony growth from the medial aspect of the distal tibia medial malleolus measuring about 15*20*25 mm which is continuous with the medullary cavity.
The lesion does not cause any local neurovascular impingement.
