Medial medullary stroke

Right upper and lower limb weakness and right facial droop.

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Male

There is a focus of abnormal restricted diffusion in the anterior left medulla in keeping with an acute medial medullary infarct.

Case Discussion

Staggering how small a stroke can be to have profound symptoms, in this case an incomplete medial medullary syndrome
