Small effusion with small areas of predominantly oblique linear type signal intensity posteromedial corner of the medial meniscus with edema of the meniscocapsular junction without meniscocapsular separation. This is a meniscocapsular strain injury and there is no significant articular surface tearing of the medial meniscus at this point. This is best seen on the sagittal PD images.
