40 years old patient with anteromedial aspect of the knee pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
MRI

Thickening of the medial patellar plica appearing as a shelf like with medial patellar facet chondral defect.

Case Discussion

In symptomatic patient with medial knee pain having MR findings of thickening of the medial patellar plica appearing as a shelf  with medial patellar facet chondral defect are diagnostic of medial patellar plica syndrome.
