Presentation
Presented with a complaint of bilateral shin pain for the last 2 days. During the last four days, the patient participated in a dance festival which involved dancing for about two to three hours a day.

The bones show normal cortex and trabecular pattern. There is no fracture, dislocation or periosteal reaction.

There is a rim of subperiosteal anechoic fluid abutting both tibias at the site of pain pointed to by the patient. There is no collection or erosion of the cortex.
Case Discussion
A female presented with bilateral shin pain for the past 2 days. She had increased physical activity in the form of dancing for 2- 3 hours a day for the last few days. Ultrasound shows a classical finding of medial tibial stress syndrome.
