Severe post postprandial abdominal pain.

Abnormal stenotic segment of the proximal celiac trunk being compressed by the median arcuate ligament followed by post stenotic dilatation.

Case Discussion

Median arcuate ligament syndrome is clinically characterized by severe postprandial abdominal pain with chronic weight loss. In our case the celiac trunk causes compression and luminal narrowing by the median arcuate ligament.
