Thickened median arcuate ligament (5mm) compresses the celiac trunk's origin, causing focal stenosis with post stenotic dilatation and giving the classic J or hook appearance on sagittal images.
Case Discussion
Median arcuate ligament syndrome or celiac artery compression syndrome is a cause of post-prandial pain.
The diagnosis is usually made by CT angiography on sagittal images.
