Excessive fatty tissue deposition within the posterior mediastinum with anterior displacement of the esophagus.
Case Discussion
Mediastinal lipomatosis is where there is a deposition of a large amount of mature adipose tissue in the mediastinum. This patient had a history of steroid intake, which is one of the causes.
