Case Discussion

Lymphangiomas are rare, benign lymphatic lesions that arise from proliferation of lymphatic vessels.

The most common location for lymphangiomas is neck and axilla, with only 1% seen in the mediastinum.

Lymphangioma radiological features include a multilocular cystic structure with thin septations. Post-contrast images may show a septal enhancement.

Surgical resection is mostly curative , with low rate of recurrence.
